SIP Trunk Setup for Poly Trio 8800 IP Conference Phone

Setting up your device with Voyced as your Business VoIP Provider.


What You’ll Need

  • Poly Trio 8800 connected to your network

  • Voyced account details:

    • Account / telephone number: Your-Voyced-DID

    • Service password: YourServicePassword

    • SIP server: sip.voyced.eu

  • Web UI or device menu access

  • Admin login


Requirements Before You Begin

  • Firmware updated to latest version

  • SIP UDP and RTP UDP ports open in your firewall/router

  • SIP ALG disabled

  • Test Voyced account on a softphone

  • Change default admin password


SIP Trunk Setup Steps

1. Access Web Interface

  • Go to Settings → Status → Network for IP address

  • Enter IP into your browser and log in as admin

 

2. Configure SIP Account

  • Menu → Settings → Lines

  • Display Name: Your Business Name or Your-Voyced-DID

  • Address: Your-Voyced-DID

  • Authentication User ID: Your-Voyced-DID

  • Authentication Password: YourServicePassword

  • Label: Voyced

  • SIP Server: sip.voyced.eu

  • Port: 5060, UDP

 

3. Advanced Account Settings

  • Caller ID Header: PAI-RPID-F

  • Voicemail Number: 1233

  • Voicemail Subscribe: Enabled

  • STUN: Disabled

  • DNS Mode: With fallback logic

  • NAT Keep Alive: Enabled

 

4. Codec Settings

List in this priority order (from higher quality to lower):

  • G722 **

  • G723 **

  • G726 **

  • PCMU (u-law)

  • PCMA (a-law)

  • G711

  • G729

  • Opus **

  • iLBC **

  • AMR-WB **

  • AMR **

  • GSM

  • Any other codecs your device supports

Codecs marked with ** may be supported but aren't guaranteed to work across all global routes.
If you have audio issues, switch back to G711 or G729 and test again.

 

Testing

  • Save and reboot

  • Confirm Registered status

  • Test inbound/outbound calls
