SIP Trunk Setup for Yealink SIP-T58W

Setting up your device with Voyced as your Business VoIP Provider.


What You’ll Need

  • A Yealink SIP-T58W handset connected to your network

  • Voyced account details:

    • Account / telephone number: Your-Voyced-DID

    • Service password: YourServicePassword

    • SIP server: sip.voyced.eu

  • Access to the phone’s web interface or on-screen menu

  • Network access with open SIP and RTP ports

  • Administrator login for the phone


Requirements Before You Begin

  • Update your phone to the latest firmware from Yealink

  • Ensure your network/firewall allows:

    • SIP over UDP to sip.voyced.eu (port as per DNS mode)

    • RTP UDP ports 10000–20000

  • Disable SIP ALG on your router/firewall

  • Have your Voyced account active and tested with a softphone if possible

  • Change the default admin password on the phone for security


SIP Trunk Setup Steps

1. Access the Phone’s Settings

  1. Connect the phone to your network and power it on

  2. Press the Menu button → Status to find the IP address

  3. Enter this IP address into your web browser and log in as admin

 

2. Create or Edit a SIP Account

  1. Go to AccountRegister

  2. Select Account 1 (or any free account slot)

  3. Enter:

    • Register Name: Your-Voyced-DID

    • User Name: Your-Voyced-DID

    • Password: YourServicePassword

    • SIP Server Host: sip.voyced.eu

 

3. SIP Server Settings

  • Preferred (redundant and reliable):

    • Host: sip.voyced.eu

    • Port: 0

    • Transport: DNS NAPTR

    • If not supported, use SRV (port 5060)

  • Fallback:

    • Primary: sip.voyced.eu (port 5060)

    • Secondary: sipnl.voyced.eu (port 5060)

  • Transport Protocol: UDP (recommended)

 

4. Advanced Account Settings

  • Caller ID Header: PAI-RPID-F

  • Voicemail Number: 1233

  • Voicemail Subscribe: Enabled

  • STUN: Disabled

  • DNS Mode: As above, with fallback logic

  • NAT Keep Alive: Enabled

 

5. Codec Settings

List in this priority order (from higher quality to lower):

  • G722 **

  • G723 **

  • G726 **

  • PCMU (u-law)

  • PCMA (a-law)

  • G711

  • G729

  • Opus **

  • iLBC **

  • AMR-WB **

  • AMR **

  • GSM

  • Any other codecs your device supports

Codecs marked with ** may be supported but aren't guaranteed to work across all global routes.
If you have audio issues, switch back to G711 or G729 and test again.

 

Testing Your Setup

  1. Save settings and reboot the phone

  2. Check the account status shows Registered

  3. Make a test outbound call

  4. Call the number from an external phone to test inbound

  5. Check audio both ways


Final Tips

  • Always keep firmware updated

  • Use a wired connection where possible

  • Monitor call quality; if issues occur, test alternate codecs

  • Keep the admin password secure

  • Contact Voyced support if you cannot register after checking all settings
