  • Open that IP in a browser

    • Username: admin

    • Password: admin (or your custom password)

Security Reminder:

  • Go to System > Password

  • Change the admin password to something strong

  • Use at least 10 characters, include numbers and symbols

  • Save and log in again

SIP Trunk Setup Steps

This section connects your Fanvil X7 to Voyced so you can make and receive calls.

1. Access SIP settings

  • Go to Line > SIP

  • Choose Line 1

2. Enter SIP credentials

  • Enable Account: Yes

  • Display Name: Your-Voyced-DID

  • Register Name: Your-Voyced-DID

  • User Name: Your-Voyced-DID

  • Password: YourServicePassword

3. SIP server settings

Recommended Setup (preferred):

  • Host: sip.voyced.eu

  • Port: 0

  • Transport type: DNS NAPTR

  • Protocol: UDP

If your phone does not support DNS NAPTR, try:

  • Transport type: DNS SRV

  • Port: 5060

If neither works, use the fallback setup:

  • SIP Server 1:

    • Host: sip.voyced.eu

    • Port: 5060

  • SIP Server 2:

    • Host: sipnl.voyced.eu

    • Port: 5060

  • Transport: UDP

4. Registration Settings

  • Registration Expiry Time: 60 seconds

5. DNS Settings

  • DNS Mode: SRV or NAPTR, if supported

  • Fallback: Hostname with port, as above

6. DTMF (for voicemail and menus)

  • DTMF Type: RFC2833

  • Payload: 101

7. Codec Settings

List in this priority order (from higher quality to lower):

  • G722 **

  • G723 **

  • G726 **

  • PCMU (u-law)

  • PCMA (a-law)

  • G711

  • G729

  • Opus **

  • iLBC **

  • AMR-WB **

  • AMR **

  • GSM

  • Any other codecs your device supports

Codecs marked with ** may be supported but aren't guaranteed to work across all global routes.
If you have audio issues, switch back to G711 or G729 and test again.

8. RTP Port Range

  • Voyced uses UDP ports 10000–20000 for audio

  • Make sure your router or firewall allows this

9. NAT and STUN Settings

  • STUN: Disabled

  • NAT Traversal: Off or leave as default

  • Voyced manages NAT internally

  • Do not use any SIP proxy or STUN server

10. Save and Finalise

  • Click Apply or Save

  • Wait for the phone to register with Voyced

  • Go to Line > SIP, and disable all unused lines

Testing Your Setup

Inbound Call Test

  • Call Your-Voyced-DID from another number

  • The Fanvil X7 should ring

Outbound Call Test

  • Call a working number from the Fanvil handset

  • Make sure audio works both ways

  • Press buttons during a call to test DTMF in voicemail or menu systems

Check that:

  • The call connects fast

  • You can hear and be heard clearly

  • DTMF tones work

  • Caller ID is correct

If calls fail, check your balance, concurrency settings, or firewall

Final Tips

  • Change the admin password now if you haven’t

  • Never access the phone interface from outside your network

  • Disable SIP ALG in your router

  • Always use UDP, never TCP or TLS unless specifically instructed

  • DNS setup must follow: NAPTR > SRV > Host fallback

  • No STUN or proxy is needed

  • Use VLANs or static IPs for extra network stability

  • Keep the firmware updated from Fanvil's official site

  • Voyced does not guarantee emergency call routing. Use a mobile or landline for that

Common Troubleshooting

Not registering?

  • Check credentials

  • Make sure NAPTR or SRV is selected

  • Use fallback setup if needed

  • UDP 5060 must be open

  • SIP ALG must be off

No audio or one-way audio?

  • Check RTP ports: UDP 10000–20000

  • Make sure STUN is off

  • Avoid double NAT setups

DTMF not working?

  • Set to RFC2833

  • Payload must be 101

Interface won’t load?

  • Reboot the phone

  • Try a factory reset

  • Make sure you're on the same local network
