SIP Trunk Setup for Grandstream GXP2170
Setting up your device with Voyced as your Business VoIP Provider.
What You’ll Need

A Grandstream GXP2170 phone connected to your network

Your Voyced account details:

Account / telephone number: Your-Voyced-DID
-
Service password: YourServicePassword
-
SIP server: sip.voyced.eu
-

Access to the phone’s web interface (IP address in browser)

Admin login credentials for the phone
Requirements Before You Begin
-
Make sure the phone is running the latest Grandstream firmware
-
Change the default admin password to something secure
-
Have a stable internet connection
-
If using a firewall, allow outbound UDP to sip.voyced.eu and sipnl.voyced.eu on port 5060
-
Disable any SIP ALG on your router
-
STUN must be disabled
SIP Trunk Setup Steps
1. Log in to the Web Interface

Find the phone’s IP via Menu > Status > Network Status
-
Enter it in your browser
-
Log in with the admin password
2. Create a New SIP Account
-
Go to Accounts > Account 1 > General Settings
-
Account Active: Yes
-
Account Name: Voyced
-
SIP Server: sip.voyced.eu (use DNS NAPTR if supported, fallback to SRV or traditional)
-
Preferred: DNS NAPTR, Port 0, UDP
-
If NAPTR not supported: SRV with Port 5060
-
Fallback: sipnl.voyced.eu, Port 5060, UDP
-

SIP User ID: Your-Voyced-DID

Authenticate ID: Your-Voyced-DID

Authenticate Password: YourServicePassword

Name: Your-Voyced-DID

Caller ID Header: PAI-RPID-F

List in this priority order (from higher quality to lower):

Any other codecs your device supports
Codecs marked with ** may be supported but aren't guaranteed to work across all global routes.
If you have audio issues, switch back to G711 or G729 and test again.

Local RTP Port Range: leave default unless required by network admin

Testing Your Setup

Make an inbound call to your Voyced number to confirm ringing and audio
-
Make an outbound call to a mobile and landline
-
Check voicemail by dialling 1233
Final Tips

If calls drop or have no audio, check firewall/NAT rules and codec priority

Keep firmware updated
-
Back up your phone configuration after setup
