SIP Trunk Setup for Voyced – Grandstream IP PBX (UCM Series)
This guide explains how to set up a SIP trunk with Voyced on any Grandstream UCM IP PBX system (e.g. UCM6202, UCM6510). This setup supports both inbound and outbound calls.
What You’ll Need
Before you begin, make sure you have:

Admin access to the Grandstream UCM web interface

One or more extensions already created

Your Voyced SIP credentials:

SIP (UDP 5060) and RTP (UDP 10000–20000) are open on your firewall
Step-by-Step Configuration
Step 1: Log in to Grandstream UCM

Open your browser and go to your UCM IP (e.g.
http://192.168.1.100
) -
Log in as administrator
Step 2: Add SIP Trunk

Go to PBX > Basic/Call Routes > VoIP Trunks

Click Add SIP Trunk
General Settings:

Type: Register SIP Trunk

Provider Name:
Voyced
-
Host Name/IP:
sip.voyced.eu

Port:
5060
-
Transport:
UDP
Step 3: SIP Authentication
Fill in:

Keep-Alive | ✅ Enabled |
NAT Traversal | Keep as default or Yes if behind NAT |
Click Save, then Apply Changes
Step 4: Configure Codecs

In the same trunk config, scroll down to Codec Preference

Recommended order:

PCMA (alaw)

PCMU (ulaw)

G729

Step 5: Create Inbound Route

Go to PBX > Basic/Call Routes > Inbound Routes

Click Add
Fill in:

Click Save, then Apply Changes
Step 6: Create Outbound Route

Go to PBX > Basic/Call Routes > Outbound Routes

Click Add

Trunk Selection:

Select the Voyced SIP Trunk
Privilege Level:

Set to
National
or higher
Click Save, then Apply Changes
Step 7: Test & Troubleshoot
Test by:

Calling your Voyced number from a mobile to test inbound

Calling an external number from your extension to test outbound
Go to PBX > Maintenance > System Events or use System Status > SIP Registration to check registration and call logs.
For deeper logs:

Use SSH to log into the UCM

Run:
sip show peers
orsip show registry
