8x8 & SIP Trunks: Important Limitation
8x8 is a hosted VoIP service, not an open PBX platform. It:

Only supports SIP trunking through 8x8’s own network

Does not allow registration of external SIP trunks

Is designed for customers to use their infrastructure only
So you cannot connect a Voyced SIP trunk to an 8x8 system.
What You Can Do Instead
If you want to use Voyced but currently have 8x8, you have two options:
Option 1: Migrate to a compatible PBX
Move to a system that supports external SIP trunks, like:

3CX
-
FreePBX / Sangoma IP PBX

Asterisk / Issabel / Elastix

Cloud-hosted PBX you control (e.g. using FusionPBX or VitalPBX)
Voyced works perfectly with all of these.
Option 2: Use Voyced as a standalone service
You can use:

Voyced VoIP numbers and Hosted IPPBX

A VoIP phone or softphone app (e.g. Zoiper, Linphone)

Direct SIP registration (no PBX required)
This is ideal for teams of all sizes and/or remote setups.
