SIP Trunk Setup for Voyced – FreePBX Manual
Use this guide to connect your FreePBX system to Voyced using a manual SIP trunk setup. This version uses chan_sip
and is tested for full inbound and outbound call support.
What You’ll Need
Make sure you have the following before you begin:

Access to your FreePBX admin interface

Your Voyced SIP trunk credentials:

Username (DID):
Your-Voyced-DID

Password:
YourServicePassword

SIP Server:
sip.voyced.eu
-

At least one extension set up in FreePBX

Network ports open for SIP and RTP traffic (UDP 5060 + 10000–20000)
-
A valid license for G729 if you want to use it

Step-by-Step Configuration
Step 1: Log in to FreePBX

Open your browser and go to your FreePBX admin interface
(usually something likehttp://<your-server-ip>/admin
) -
Login as admin
Step 2: Create a New Trunk

Go to Connectivity > Trunks

Click + Add Trunk > Add SIP (chan_sip) Trunk
General Tab:

Trunk Name:
Voyced
-
Leave CID settings blank unless needed
Step 3: SIP Settings (Outgoing)
→ PEER Details
Paste this:
→ Trunk Name (under Outgoing):
Set it as voyced-out
Step 4: SIP Settings (Incoming)
Not required for registration-based trunks like Voyced.
Leave this section blank unless Voyced gives you specific instructions.
Step 5: Registration String
At the bottom of SIP Settings:
Step 6: Apply Changes
Click Submit and then click Apply Config at the top.
Step 7: Inbound Route
To handle inbound calls from Voyced:

Go to Connectivity > Inbound Routes

Click Add Inbound Route
Set:

DID Number:
Your-Voyced-DID

Set Destination: Choose your extension, ring group, or IVR
Click Submit and Apply Config
Step 8: Outbound Route

Go to Connectivity > Outbound Routes

Click Add Outbound Route
Route Settings:

Route Name:
voyced-out
-
Dial Patterns: Add a rule like
X.
to allow all patterns (or be more specific)
Trunk Sequence:

Select Voyced
Click Submit and Apply Config
Step 9: Test & Debug
From terminal or Asterisk CLI:
To enable SIP debug:
