Dear Customer,

We would like you to know about the following planned maintenance session.

Service Affected:
As we move the final servers into our clusters we do expect there may be some downtime for a very limited number of services.
This may include calls coming into our UK numbers (UK origination) during the maintenance window.

Impact: Possible intermittent service/limited downtime on Geo-redundant location 2 only.

Start Date: Sunday, 27th of January 2019, 11:00 PM (UTC)

End Date: Monday, 28th of January 2019, 06:00 AM (UTC)

Status Report: Service Status

Description:
As we have completed all the steps to move to fully redundant clusters perfectly so far, we now have the final steps to take.
This will involve some of the 'backbone' servers and services and this is why we are doing them last as the geographical redundancy that we have created should take over all services from the servers that are being moved to the clusters.
To minimize the risks even further, we are going to do this final step in 2 smaller steps.

We do not expect you will notice these last steps at all but we can not guarantee that there won't be a hiccup somewhere along the line and therefore we do feel we need to notify you.

Step 1 starting on the 27th of January 2019.
Moving the final servers on the geo-redundant locations into their respective clusters.
As our main entry point remains untouched at this time, there should really not be any issue for any of our clients.
This is regardless of if you have correctly implemented the redundancy options yet or not as these points are not allowed to be set as primary servers.

Step 2 starting on the 4th of February 2019.

Moving the final servers at our main entry point into their respective clusters.
As this affects our main entry point there may be some downtime for clients that not set up the geo-redundant option.
If you have not done so yet, please set this up asap so that you can benefit from the increased security and reliability the Geo-redundancy provides.
See the update install details here: https://www.voyced.eu/clients/index.php/knowledgebase/4/Basic-setup-information.html

Geographic redundant SIP entry points used to be an optional extra, charged services for our bigger, corporate clients.
As the first major new service improvement of 2019 we have decided to provide Geographic Redundancy free of charge to all clients so that all our clients can benefit from the most reliable solution ever.

Step 2 is planned for the 4th of February 2019 and we'll create a separate announcement for that maintenance window.

Our other web services, website, email and all other telephony services and calls will work as normal and as expected.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and if there are any questions, please contact our technical support team.

Kindest Regards
Support team
