SuiteCRM

SuiteCRM – SIP Interconnect Manual for Voyced

Use Voyced as an external SIP provider

What You’ll Need

  • Voyced DID Account: Your-Voyced-DID

  • Service Password: YourServicePassword

  • SIP Server: sip.voyced.eu

  • An Asterisk or FreePBX instance directly connected to SuiteCRM’s Telephony integration

  • Admin access to SuiteCRM

Requirements Before You Begin

  1. SuiteCRM does not include native SIP registration but integrates directly with Asterisk (or any PBX supporting AMI and SIP).

  2. Your PBX will register directly to Voyced, and SuiteCRM will connect to the PBX for click-to-call, call pop-ups, and call logging.

  3. Your firewall must allow:

    • SIP signalling to sip.voyced.eu on UDP/TCP 5060

    • RTP media on UDP ports 10000–20000

Step 1 – Configure Your PBX to Register to Voyced

On your Asterisk or FreePBX system, add:

ini

[Voyced]
type=peer
host=sip.voyced.eu
username=Your-Voyced-DID
secret=YourServicePassword
port=5060
transport=udp
disallow=all
allow=g722
allow=alaw
allow=ulaw
allow=g729
register => Your-Voyced-DID:YourServicePassword@sip.voyced.eu
  • Replace the placeholders with your actual Voyced credentials.

  • Save and reload the dialplan.

Step 2 – Enable SuiteCRM Asterisk Integration

  1. Log in to SuiteCRM as an Administrator.

  2. Go to AdminAsterisk Configuration (you may need the “Asterisk Connector” module enabled).

  3. Enter:

    • Asterisk Host: IP or hostname of your PBX

    • Asterisk Port: Default 5038 for AMI

    • Asterisk Username: AMI user created on PBX

    • Asterisk Secret: AMI password

  4. Save.

Step 3 – Assign Extensions to Users

  1. Go to AdminUser Management.

  2. Open a user’s profile.

  3. Set Extension to the PBX extension mapped to that user.

  4. Save.

Step 4 – Test the Integration

  1. Place a call from SuiteCRM using click-to-call.

  2. Confirm the PBX routes the call over Voyced SIP trunk.

  3. Receive an inbound call to your Voyced DID and verify a pop-up appears in SuiteCRM.

Step 5 – Voicemail

  • If you use Voyced voicemail, dial 1233 from your SIP phone connected to the PBX.

Troubleshooting

  • No registration: Check SIP login/password and firewall rules.

  • No CRM pop-ups: Confirm AMI settings in Asterisk and SuiteCRM match.

  • One-way audio: Ensure RTP ports are open both ways.
