Dear Customer,

We would like you to know about the following planned new/additional service option that is available to you.

Service Affected: Payment processing/payment of your invoices

Impact: Major impact

Implementation Date: Wednesday, 11th of December 2019, 09:00 AM (BST)

Status Report: A Credit Card payment option is live at the time of this notification and a UK Direct Debit option should be live in January 2020

Description:

We had many requests for more and more flexible payment options and we have heard you.
Especially all of you that wanted options for automatic payments so that you don't have to worry about that anymore.

After extensive testing we now officially release Credit Card processing and announce the following extra UK Direct Debit payment options:

1) Payment by Credit Card (payment processing partner is Stripe).

Security is always at the forefront of all we do, so all payment transactions are tokenized which means that we do not keep any Credit Card details on our system but they are stored on the Stripe servers and we get a special token back.
This token does mean that we, and only we, can use it for your credit card for future payments too.
Hence, if you now set up a working Credit Card you can indicate if we can use it to process future invoices with that credit card automatically too.

Any new order you then place and that you want to pay instantly, you can just indicate the Credit Card 'on file' during check out and that token will be used for that too.
How simple and good is that?!

Paying by Credit Card is processed (almost) immediately so it is as fast as the PayPal option many of you used for speed but will cost less, a lot less, often and the larger the invoice the bigger the saving for you!

2) UK Direct Debit (payment processing partner is GoCardless): Expected release to all in January 2020

We are in the final testing stage so if you would like to be included in this Beta test and very regularly pay your invoices from a UK bank account, please let us know as we can use 1 or 2 more companies to test with.

Once the tests are concluded we will release this option to all.

Payment processing via Direct Debit seems to go pretty fast, but we do see that this will certainly not be an instant option at this time.
It will mean automatic payments of some or all your invoices from a UK bank account and one less worry for you.

We're very excited to have these extra options available to you whereby you can save money and get your services up and running even faster.

With these extra options, it may be that we'll say goodbye to PayPal payment processor over time, but we will let you know if that happens.
The reason for this is mainly because we see the high cost of this and the fact that we're seeing more issues with their processing speed and reliability.
Don't worry, if need be we will even keep the PayPal option once the others are more used but we try to keep everything as simple as possible so we may 'slim down' at some point in the future.

With kind regards and if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our sales team.

Kind Regards

Sales team
