Dear Customer,

We would like you to know about the following unplanned outage.

Service Affected: Possible issue with phones registering to our Hosted IPPBX in 1 geographic location.

Impact: Unknown Impact

Start Date: Friday, 5th of March 2021,  09:08 PM (BST)

End Date: Friday, 5th of March 2021,  09:28 PM (BST)

Status Report: Service Status

Status: Solved

Description:
When placing new hardware and switches in preparation for a major new upgrade of the system something has gone wrong and we see some device registrations fail to servers in that location only. Those that have set up their devices with our geographic redundant option have all switched over correctly and smoothly.

We're investigating what happened and how to solve it asap.

Our apologies for the inconvenience this may cause and if there are any questions, please contact our technical support team.

Kindest Regards

the Voyced Technical team

Update 09:35 PM (BST):

The issue was causee by new switches being placed at the location which somehow caused a loop in the network traffic.
Priority was given to solving this and after adjustments and reboots, traffic could flow the correct route again.

We see many device registrations coming back in again so this has indeed solved the issue.
If your device has not come back online you may be able to force it to do so by rebooting.

Again, apologies for the inconvenience and we're going to investigate how this could have happened to prevent this in the future.
