Setting up your VoiceMail such as your outgoing message, etc

There are 2 ways to set up your VoiceMail setting, the outgoing message, etc

1) The recommended method will allow you, if you have the correct credentials, to set up the VoiceMail of any of the numbers in your Client account.

a) Create the message audio file from your computer, either with an external or internal microphone.
This way you will have the ultimate control of quality, length and setup

How to create the correct and recommended audio file can be found in the following article:

b) Log in to your Hosted IPPBX environment and go to the number of which you're aiming to set up the VoiceMail.
Then go to Cloud PBX/IP Centrex > VoiceMail > Greetings.

The next article will show you want to do and how to set it all up:

2) Alternatively, you can set up all the settings of a number's VoiceMail from a phone that is connected to that specific number.

Pick up your phone, dial 1233 (which is the default number to reach VoiceMail), select the correct menu option and follow the instructions.
This is a very easy method of doing settings up your VoiceMail and the audio quality can be as good but will depend on your phone and the network quality.

Take note:
- Method 2 will only allow you to set up the VoiceMail options and settings for the account that that phone is registered to and this method will also not allow you to set the VoiceMail-2-Email settings, which we always recommend to use.
- If you call your VoiceMail from a phone that is connected to a number on our Hosted IPPBX platform you will always Only be able to listen to your VoiceMail messages and/or access the settings of that VoiceMail setup.
This includes recording a (new) Outgoing message, for example.
Any other caller will Only be able to leave messages (so you can not leave an incoming message by dialing your own number from your own phones. Please use another phone or a mobile to test).
