IVR / Auto-Attendant says 'no valid input'

I've set up the IVR / Auto-Attendant but when I try it I get the error 'no valid input' after a while, why?

This means that you may have pressed one of the numbers on your phone to select an option but the Hosted IPPBX did not recognise it or you didn't press a selection, of course.

a) If you didn't press a selection, you can do so from the moment that you hear the message played to you, so you don't have to wait until the end of the message.
When you do so it should take you straight to the action that is set for that selection.

b) You have pressed a selection (number) on your phone but the phone is not sending it, or at least, not in a format the Hosted IPPBX recognises.
This is something we regularly see with VoIP phones and you can often solve this by adjusting the 'DTMF Type settings of your phone.
The most traditional setting for that, which should always work, is RFC2833 but you can adjust to see what which you prefer and does work.
