Setting up a Gigaset IP phone (DECT)

Login to the base station of your Gigaset IP phone.

  • Go to: Telephone > Connections menu.
  • Select 'Edit' on the connection you want to setup /change
  • Click on 'Show Advanced Settings' to show all the possible options.

You will need to enter the following fields with the indicated data:

Authentication Name: You full DID
Authentication Password: The password that belongs to the entered DID
Username: Your full DID again
Display Name: This is for you / visual reference only to indicate what line it is

Domain: voyced.eu
Proxy server address: sip.voyced.eu
Proxy server port: 5060
Registrar sever: sip.voyced.eu
Registrar server port: 5060
Registration refresh time: 180

All the other option should be left blank / as they are.

Now you Click on 'Set' and the changes are saved.

Do make sure that the 'active' box is ticked and that's it.
